Cooper Industries, Ltd fourth quarter revenues fell 1.4% to $1.52 billion and net income fell 38% to $111.1 million or 65 cents a share. Yahoo! Inc fourth quarter revenues fell 1% to $1.81 billion and net loss was $303 million or 22 cents a share.

Calamos Asset Management, Inc, provides investment advisory services to institutions and individuals said fourth quarter revenues fell 46% to $66.9 million from $124.5 million a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $26.1 million or $1.24 per diluted share compared to net income of $9.3 million or 42 cents per share a year ago.

Revenues for the fiscal year 2008 fell 81% to $391.6 million from $473.5 million a year ago. Net loss for the year was $24.5 million or $1.19 per diluted share compared to net income of $27.8 million or $1.22 per share a year ago.

Calamos Asset Management, Inc (CLMS: chart) in the last one year traded as high as $24.00 in September 2008 and as low as $2.55 in November 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of $5.75 the company has market cap of $112.11 million.

Revenues for the fiscal year 2008 rose 41% to $23.8 billion from $16.9 billion a year ago. Net income for the year rose 142% to $2.13 billion or $18.11 per diluted share compared to net income of $879 million or $7.40 per share a year ago.

United States Steel Corporation (X: chart) in the last one year traded as high as $196.00 in June 2008 and as low as $20.71 in November 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of $31.49 the company has market cap of $3.66 billion.

Yahoo! Inc, the Internet portal said fourth quarter revenues fell 1% to $1.81 billion from $1.83 billion a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $303 million or 22 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $206 million or 15 cents per share a year ago.

Revenues for the fiscal year 2008 rose 3% to $7.2 billion from $7 billion a year ago. Net income for the year fell 36% to $424 million or 29 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $660 million or 47 cents per share a year ago.
