Church & Dwight & Co. Inc first quarter sales rose 9% to $634.6 million and net income rose 28% to $80.0 million or $1.11 a share. Fossil, Inc first quarter sales rose 21.7% to $393.2 million and net income rose 107.3% to $35.9 million or 53 cents a share.

American Dairy, Inc (ADY: chart), a producer and distributor of dairy products reported first quarter sales fell 28.5% to $81.4 million from $113.8 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter fell 80% to $5.5 million or 25 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $27.8 million or $1.55 per share a year ago.
