AT&T Net Falls; Bristol-Myers Net Rises

AT&T Inc second quarter revenues fell 0.4% to $30.73 billion and net income fell 15% to $3.2 billion or 54 cents a share. Bristol-Myers Squibb Company second quarter revenues rose 3.5% to $5.4 billion and net income rose 29% to $983 billion or 49 cents a share.

Ameriprise Financial, Inc, the financial adviser said second quarter revenues fell 5% to $1.88 billion from $1.97 billion a year ago. Net income in the quarter fell 58% to $95 million or 41 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $210 million or 93 cents per share a year ago.
