The Tampa, Florida-based company offered all of the shares. In addition, Accentia has granted to the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 360 thousand additional shares to cover excess demand.

Accentia Biopharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of late-stage clinical products in the therapeutic areas of respiratory disease and oncology.

Accentia''s common stock was listed on the Nasdaq National Market and closed the first day and week at $7.25, or 9.4% down from the offering.

IPO CALENDAR – week of October 31st

Internet service provider CBeyond Communications (CBEY) plans to offer 6.1 million shares within a price range of $13-$14 a share, in a bid to raise $85.4 million. The company lowered its range from $16-18 a share on Thursday. Deutsche Bank will be the lead manager on the deal.

Real estate investment trust Newkirk Realty Trust (NKT) plans to offer 20 million shares within a price range of $19-$21 per share, in a bid to raise $400 million. Bear Stearns and CS First Boston head the list of underwriters on the deal.

Internet service provider Website Pros (WSPI) plans to offer 6.8 million shares within a price range of $9-$11 a share. Friedman Billings, Piper Jaffray and RBC Capital Markets will manage the deal.

Blank check company Cold Spring Capital (CDS) plans to offer 20 million shares at $6 a share, in a bid to raise $120 million. Deutsche Bank and BB&T Capital Markets will underwrite the offering.
