WebMD Health shares rise 26% on market debut after the company priced its IPO at the top of an estimated range. The company attracts investors’ interest despite the reported loss for the six months of 2005.
Caribou Coffee is among the initial public offerings to be priced this week and is expecting to raise about $68 million in the IPO. It is the fourth Minnesota-based company to go public this year.

No deal has been priced for the last two weeks as the summer IPO is traditionally idle in early September. Five companies filed for initial public offerings, among which there are two that are planning auction-style OpenIPOs. There aren’t any IPOs on deck for the week of September 12th.

This has resulted in higher electricity costs for consumers and highlighted the need to develop new technologies for electricity generation. Solar and wind power generation have emerged as the most rapidly growing renewable energy sources.
