| Mastercard, the largest IPO in the last two years, trades up $4.50 from its offer price of $39 per share. More than 26 million shares changed at mid-day trading, indicating less than 33% of issued shares changing hands. The IPO was led by an underwriting team of Goldman Sachs and Citigroup. The filing range for the IPO price per share was between $40 and $43. |

| Vonage’s initial public offering showed the worst opening-day performance in two years, losing almost 13% from its price. The IPO is among a growing list of telecom-related offerings this year. In March, China GrenTech gained 5.6% from its IPO price on its first day of trading. In February, Ntelos Holdings ended the day slightly below its IPO price. Earlier in May, wireless Internet broadband provider Clearwire filed for $400 million offering. |

| The world’s second-largest hamburger chain Burger King Holdings gained 3% in its first day of trading after pricing at the top of an estimated range. MasterCard is preparing to offer shares next week and the IPO is expected to be the biggest one in the U.S. in two years. Vonage is also in the calendar for the next week. Twenty companies from various sectors filed for IPOs last week, including Web domain Go Daddy and investment bank Evercore. |

| Shares of Basin Water gained nearly 40% in their first day of trading Friday. Also on Friday drug device maker BioMimetic Therapeutics made a weak performance after an initial public offering raised a lower-than-expected $36.8 million which the company blamed on a downturn in the biotechnology sector. The expected IPO from QuatRx has been moved again to next week. |

| Delek US Holdings, which operates a refinery and gas stations, rose slightly, while government contractor DynCorp International slipped below its offering price in their first day of trading. Investors gave Northstar Neuroscience a warm welcome sending its shares up 10.7% in their first day of trading. The expected IPOs from Novacea and QuatRx have been moved to next week. Seventy two companies priced shares so far in 2006, and 67% of them are currently trading above their offering price. |

CPI International’s stock also closed unchanged, while American MoldGuard, RAM Holdings and Harbour Acquisition shares were slightly up.
