| Sterlite, the largest copper and zinc producer in india priced $1.75 billion IPO. The company smelts and refines copper, zinc and aluminum. |

| Sterlite Industries, largest copper and zinc mining company, offered 130 million shares at $13.44 per ADS. The stock rose nearly 10% in its first day of trading with less than 29 million shares changing hands. Copper prices have jumped from $2,051 per ton in 2004 to $7,400 per ton in 2007. Similar price increases in zinc and and other commodities have lifted company net profit margin to 12%. |
