| Distillate fuel inventories increased by 0.3 million barrels, and are above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year. |
|
| U.S. commercial crude oil inventories increased 2.8 million barrels from the previous week. At 359.4 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories are above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year. Total motor gasoline inventories increased 2.2 million barrels last week, and are above the upper limit of the average range. Finished gasoline inventories fell last week while gasoline blending components inventories rose during this same time. |

ISM Index Rises to 36.3% in March Apr 01, 10:37 AM ET |

| The U.S. Census Bureau of the Department of Commerce announced today that construction spending during February 2009 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $967.5 billion, 0.9% below the revised January estimate of $976.2 billion. The February figure is 10% below the February 2008 estimate of $1,075.3 billion. |
