General Motors Corporation, the biggest U.S. automaker reported fourth quarter revenues fell 39% to $30.8 billion from $46.8 billion a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $9.6 billion or $15.71 per diluted share compared to net loss of $1.5 billion or $2.70 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the fiscal year 2008 fell 17% to $149 billion from $180 billion a year ago. Net loss for the fiscal year 2008 was $30.9 billion $53.32 per diluted share compared to net loss of $43.3 billion or $76.52 per share a year ago.
