4:00AM New York - Piedmont Natural Gas Company, Inc revenue rose 12.1% and net loss was $13.2 million. The Mosaic Company revenue rose 37% and net income rose 144%.

Piedmont Natural Gas Company, Inc, an energy services company said fourth quarter revenues rose 12.1% to $312 million from $278 million a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $13.2 million or 18 cents per diluted share compared to net loss of $8.3 million or 11 cents per share a year ago.

Revenues for the fiscal year 2008 rose 22% to $2.09 billion from $1.71 billion a year ago. Net income for the year rose 5.4% to $110 million or $1.49 per diluted share compared to net income of $104.4 million or $1.40 per share a year ago.
