1:30PM New York - Engineering and construction companies Fluor and McDermott fell after reporting earnings. Fluor Corp quarterly revenue jumped 37% to $5.8 billion and earnings increased 54% to $209 million. McDermott International revenue rose 26% and earnings gained 19% in the quarter.

BearingPoint, Inc, a management and technology consulting firms said second quarter revenues rose 1.3% to $886.7 million from $875.3 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter was $18.5 million or 8 cents per diluted share compared to net loss of $64 million or 30 cents per share, a year ago.
