11:00AM New York - The Gymboree Corporation revenue rose 5% and net income rose 15%. Hot Topic, Inc revenue rose 4.7% and net income rose 10.4%. Petsmart sales rose 11% and net increased 22%.

A-Power Energy Generation Systems, Ltd, provider of distributed power generation systems in China said third quarter revenues rose 119.7% to $85.4 million from $38.9 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter rose 124% to $9.4 million or 28 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $4.2 million or 31 cents per share a year ago.

A-Power Energy Generation Systems, Ltd (APWR) in the last one year traded as high as $31.89 in June 2008 and as low as $3.97 in November 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of $4.02 the company has market cap of $131.48 million.

Cyberonics, Inc, medical device maker said second quarter revenues rose 25% to $36 million from $28.9 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter was $8.3 million or 14 cents per diluted share compared to net loss of $4.1 million or 15 cents per share a year ago.

Net income in the quarter rose 10.4% to $7.4 million or 17 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $6.7 million or 15 cents per share a year ago.

Comparable same store sales increased 1.0%.

Intuit Inc, a tax preparation and personal finance software maker said first quarter revenues rose 8% to $481.4 million from $444.9 million a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $52.1 million or 16 cents per diluted share compared to net loss of $20.8 million or 6 cents per share a year ago.

Intuit Inc (INTU) in the last one year traded as high as $32.16 in December 2007 and as low as $20.50 in November 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of $20.55 the company has market cap of $6.66 billion.

The Men’s Wearhouse, Inc, a specialty retailer of men’s suits said third quarter revenues fell 10.2% to $459.7 million from $512.1 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter fell 61% to $14.6 million or 28 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $37.1 million or 69 cents per share a year ago.

The Men’s Wearhouse, Inc (MW) in the last one year traded as high as $41.71 in November 2007 and as low as $9.65 in November 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of $9.68 the company has market cap of $500.15 million.

PetSmart, Inc, a specialty provider of pet food and supplies said third quarter revenues rose 11.6% to $1.25 billion from $1.12 billion a year ago. Net income in the quarter rose 22% to $35.8 million or 28 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $29.5 million or 23 cents per share a year ago.

Comparable same store sales increased 5.4%.

PetSmart, Inc (PETM) in the last one year traded as high as $28.86 in December 2007 and as low as $13.27 in November 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of $13.32 the company has market cap of $1.69 billion.
