AnnTaylor Stores Corporation, the women''s specialty apparel retailer reported third quarter sales fell 12% to $527.2 million from $600.9 million a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $13.4 million or 24 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $40.8 million or 66 cents per share a year ago.
Comparable same store sales declined 19.4%.
