Coldwater Creek Inc women''''s apparel retailer second quarter sales dropped 5% to $241.4 million and net income declined 64% to $3.1 million or 3 cents a share.The Men’s Wearhouse, Inc apparel retailer second quarter revenues fell 4% to $545.3 million and net income in the quarter dropped 76% to $32.8 million or 63 cents a share. FuelCell Energy, Inc engaged in the fuel cell power plants third quarter revenues increased 106% to $27.9 million and net loss was $26.8 million or 39 cents a share.

 
8:00AM New York - Benihana Inc revenue rose 5.0% and net income declined 91%. Coldwater Creek Inc sales dropped 5% and net income declined 64%. FuelCell Energy, Inc revenue increased 106% but reported a loss of $26.8 million.

Benihana Inc, the nation’s largest chain of Japanese theme and sushi restaurants said first quarter revenues rose 5% to $94.5 million from $89.9 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter declined 91% to $2.2 million or 12 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $4.2 million or 25 cents per share, a year ago.

Benihana Inc (BNHNA: chart) in the last one year traded as high as $19.49 in October 2007 and as low as $5.60 in July 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price the company has a market cap of $103.59 million.

Jo-Ann Stores, Inc, fabric and craft chain said second quarter revenues increased 4% to $403 million from $388.5 million a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $11.7 million or 47 cents per diluted share compared to net loss of $18.4 million or 76 cents per share, a year ago.

Comparable Same-store sales increased 3.3%.
