11:45AM New York – Church Dwight second quarter revenue rose 9% and earnings increased 13%. Humana Inc second quarter revenue rose 14% and earnings declined 3%. InterncontinentalExchange fell 7% after it reported 58% increase in earnings.

Church & Dwight Co, a maker of consumer products reported second quarter sales rose 9% to $594 million from $546.5 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter rose 13% to $45.8 million or 66 cents per share compared to net income of $40.5 million or 59 cents per share, a year ago.

Humana Inc, a health insurer reported second quarter revenues rose 14% to $7.3 billion from $6.4 billion a year ago. Net income in the quarter decreased 3% to $209.9 million or $1.24 per share compared to net income of $216.8 million or $1.28 per share, a year ago.
