2:45AM New York - Amazon.com, Inc sales rose 42% and net income rose 71%. Eli Lilly and Company revenue rose 14% and net income was $915.4 million.

3PAR Inc., a provider of utility storage said third quarter revenues rose 4% to $50.1 million from $48.2 million a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $528,000 or 1 cent per diluted share compared to net income of $461,000 or 1 cent per share a year ago.

3PAR Inc. (PAR) in the last one year traded as high as $13.67 in January 2010 and as low as $5.93 in March 2009. Based on the yesterday's closing price of $10.45 the company has market cap of $647.08 million.

Airgas, Inc., the gas products distributor said third quarter sales fell 13% to $942.1 million from $1.08 billion a year ago. Net income in the quarter fell 25.4% to $46.9 million or 56 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $62.9 million or 76 cents per share a year ago.

Net income in the quarter was $704,000 or 3 cents per diluted share compared to net loss of $2.9 million or 12 cents per share a year ago.

Net interest income for the fiscal year 2009 rose 4% to $624.8 million from $599.9 million a year ago. Net income for the year fell 75% to $25.4 million or 50 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $102.5 million or $2.11 per share a year ago.

Net sales for the fiscal year 2009 fell 33% to $307.7 million from $459.0 million a year ago. Net income for the year fell 67% to $12.0 million or 40 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $36.5 million or $1.22 per share a year ago.

Eastman Kodak Company, the provider of imaging technology products and services said fourth quarter sales rose 6% to $2.58 billion from $2.43 billion a year ago.
