| NVIDIA, which offers graphic processor technologies, reported revenue of $1.20 billion, up 37% from last year, led by 124% growth in notebook and 69% growth desktops. With the increasing importance of the GPU in graphic applications, the firm shipped a record 80 million discrete GPUs in fiscal 2008. During the quarter, NVIDIA acquired Mental Images, a leading photorealistic rendering technology provider. The management expects the first quarter revenues to be ‘better than seasonal’. |

During the quarter, NVIDIA shipped its first-ever single-chip motherboard GPUs or Intel-processor-based desktop PCs - the NVIDIA GeForce 7000 mGPU family and also launched the new GeForce 8800 GT GPU. For the fourth quarter, the company expects revenue to grow in the range of 5% to 7%. |

The company has repurchased $125 million of its stock and has announced a 3-for-2 stock split. For the third quarter, the revenue is expected to grow in the range of 5% to 7%. |
