HP said international markets accounted for 70% of total revenue, with revenue from Brazil, Russia, India and China growing 26% over a year earlier. Operating margin, excluding special items, was 10%, up from 9% a year earlier and 9.9% in the first quarter. HP estimates Q3 r revenue from $27.3 billion to $27.4 billion, with earnings per share from 76 cents to 77 cents. |

Hewlett-Packard paid dividend of 8 cents per share in the first quarter, resulting in cash usage of $206 million. The company expects second quarter GAAP EPS of 77 cents to 78 cents. |

| The leading information technology company reported revenue of $28.29 billion, up 15% from prior year and $1 billion more than the expectations of the analysts. Hewlett-Packard recently closed the acquisition of Opsware, the leading in run-book automation and server and network configuration. During the quarter, the company bought back $2 billion or approximately 42 million shares in the open market. For fiscal 2008, the firm projects EPS of $3.32 to $3.37, on revenue of $111.5 billion. |

| The leading technology company reported 16% growth in revenue to $25.4 billion versus the prior year, on growth across geographies and segments. During the quarter, Hewlett Packard signed definitive agreements to purchase Opsware and Neoware and closed the acquisition of STI Dynamics. The Q3 share repurchases totaled $2.5 billion or roughly 55 million shares. The firm now expects Q4 revenue to be approximately $27 billion to $27.2 billion, a year over year increase of roughly 10% to 11%. |
