For the quarter the company posted net income of $34.6 million, or 71 cents a share, compared with $29.5 million, or 59 cents a share, a year ago.
Total revenue rose 12% from a year ago, while revenue in the US rose 10% to $107 million. For the third quarter, the company expects revenue of $153 million to $157 million. For 2009, capital expenditures, net of landlord contributions, are expected to be $22 million and $28 million.

Earnings rose to $33.6 million, or 67 cents a share, from $30.7 million, or 60 cents a share in the year-ago period.
Revenues rose to $153.7 million, an increase of 19% compared to the prior year. Free cash flows generated were $39 million and $116 million over the fiscal year. Capital expenditures net of landlord contributions were $9.6 million. Effective tax rate was 34.2%, consistent with the prior year, excluding the $1.1 million tax benefit last year.

Revenue increased 16% to $155.6 million. Revenue grew as annual subscription value increased $7 million, excluding the effect of foreign currency exchange. FactSet''s total annual subscription value was $620 million, up 14.5 percent from the same time a year ago. The company expects Q2 revenue of $156 million to $159 million, with operating margins of 31.5% to 33%, including FactSet Fundamentals.

Earnings rose 14% to $32.5 million due to growth in its user and client base.
Revenue was $147 million versus $121 million in the year-ago quarter. Free cash flows exceeded net income by 41% and over the last 12 months free cash flow and net income are nearly identical. Capital expenditures for computer equipment were $7.6 million and the remainder covered office space expansion. For Q4, FactSet expects revenue to be in the $150 million-$154 million range.

The earnings rose to $29.5 million or 59 cents per share as against $26.5 million or 52 cents per share the year-ago period.
The provider of financial and economic information reported revenue of $140.2 million, up 20.6% from $116.3 million in the prior year, on price increases in US and growth in international operations. At the end of the quarter, the average subscription value stood at $575 million. On a constant currency basis, ASV advanced $104 million over the last 12 months, reflecting an organic growth rate of 22.5%. For fiscal 2008, revenues are expected to range between $145 million and $149 million.

Net income for the quarter rose to $29.4 million, or 58 cents per share, from $23.8 million, or 47 cents per share, a year ago.
The financial information provider attributed the 24% increase in earnings to user and subscription growth during the latest quarter. Total revenue climbed 23% from a year ago to $134.2 million. The company added 2,800 new users during the quarter. Subscriptions grew $21.1 million on a constant currency basis and have increased $97.2 million over the past twelve months, posting a 22% jump.

Earnings for the quarter rose to $30.7 million, or 60 cents per share, from $23.4 million, or 46 cents per share, a year ago.
Revenue at the financial information and analytical applications provider increased 23% to $129.5 million, from $105.2 million a year ago. Fiscal fourth quarter earnings climbed 31% thanks to an increase in subscriptions. Subscriptions rose by $27.7 million in the most recent quarter, and by $92.5 million from a year ago, up 22%. At the end of the quarter total subscriptions amounted to $516.9 million, while users increased to 35,000, up from 33,300 at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
