Family Dollar Sales Up 8%

| Family Dollar Stores fourth quarter revenues rose 8.2% to $1.766 billion and net income rose 41% to $53.2 million or 38 cents a share. The company guides higher earnings in the current quarter. Lawson Software, Inc, a business software maker first quarter revenues rose 2% to $191 million. |

Standard Micro Drops 10%, Micron Rises

| Micron Technology, a memory chip maker reported fourth quarter flat revenues of $1.45 billion and net loss of $344 million or 45 cents a share. Standard Microsystems Corp, a chipmaker second quarter revenues fell 0.31% to $97.2 million and net income fell 6.45% to $8.7 million or 38 cents a share. |

Constellation Brands, Marriott Fall

| Constellation Brands, the alcohol beverage distributor reported second quarter revenues rose 6% to $1.24 billion and net loss of $23 million or 11 cents a share. Marriott International third quarter revenues rose 1% to $2.96 billion and net income fell 28% to $94 million or 26 cents a share. |
