IBM Revenues Rises 5%, Earnings Up 20%

| IBM revenues in the third quarter rose 5% to $25.3 billion and net income gained 20% to $2.8 billion and earnings per share from continuing operations increased 22% to $2.05 from $1.68 a share a year ago period. Internatioal Speedway Corp third quarter revenue rose 9%. |

Alcoa Drops 11%, Earnings Fall 52%

| Alcoa Inc reported third quarter revenues fell 2% to $7.23 billion and net income fell 52% to $268 million or 33 cents a share. Premier Exhibitions, Inc second quarter revenues fell 6% to $15.1 million and net income fell 84% to $0.9 million or 3 cents a share. |

| Costco, discount retailer reported fourth quarter sales rose 13% to $23.1 billion and net income rose 7% to $397.8 million or 90 cents a share. Lindsay Corporation a provider of irrigation systems and infrastructure products fourth quarter revenues rose 100% and net income rose 197%. |

Family Dollar Sales Up 8%

| Family Dollar Stores fourth quarter revenues rose 8.2% to $1.766 billion and net income rose 41% to $53.2 million or 38 cents a share. The company guides higher earnings in the current quarter. Lawson Software, Inc, a business software maker first quarter revenues rose 2% to $191 million. |

Standard Microsystems Corp, a chipmaker second quarter revenues fell 0.31% to $97.2 million and net income fell 6.45% to $8.7 million or 38 cents a share. |
