Gemalto Annual Profit Rises

| Revenues in the full year ended December 31st slid 4% to 1.63 billion from 1.69 billion a year earlier. |

| Digital security company Gemalto attributed the annual revenues decline to the price recovery program that leveraged growth in the Mobile Communications segment. Performance was dragged by the restructuring of the Secure Transactions business that was launched in Western Europe. Annual net profit rose from 1.6 million a year ago to 89.2 million. Basic EPS increased from 0.02 per share to 0.98. |

Wharf Holdings Profit Surges 22%

| Property conglomerate Wharf Holdings Group turnover rose by 21% to HK$16.2 billion from HK$13.3 billion a year ago thanks to solid performance from Habour City and Times Square. Average retail occupancy also increased in all the units. Wharf proposed a final dividend for the year of HK$0.44% per share, bringing the total to HK$0.88 per share. |

The company proposed a 50% rise in dividends to 0.60 euro per share from 2006. |

Bovis Homes Group Profit Falls 6%

| The most profitable homebuilder in the U.K. Bovis Home Group said that its annual revenues declined 7% from a year ago to £555.7 million as average sales prices fell 2% to £179,500, while legal completions fell 6% year-on-year to £2,930. Operating profit for the year also plummeted 10% to £124,4 million from £137 million last year. The company proposes full-year dividend of 35 pence per share |

Bank of China Profit Up 10%

| Ninety year old Bank of China reported a profit increase of rising customer deposit and growing loan volume. |

| Bank of China, thir largest bank, reported 2007 profit increased 10.3% to HK$15.44 billion after it reported a rise in customer deposits. Earnings per share increased to HK$1.46 from HK$1.33. Total assets at the bank increased 15% to record HK$1.07 trillion. The bank expects to pay toal dividend of HK$0.91 in 2007. The company lowered its exposure to subprime loans $5 billion from $7.9 billion in the third quarter. The news of the lower exposure lifted the stock in Hong Kong trading. |

Carnival Lowers Guidance, Rising Fuel Costs

| Carnival Corp, the largest cruise liner reported first quarter 2008 revenue increase of 17% to $3.15 billion and net income decline of 17% to $236 million. Earnings per share declined to 30 cents compared to 35 cents a year ago. Carnival lowered its earnings guidance to between 42 cents and 44 cents from 48 cents in the second quarter. Higher fuel costs are taking a big bite out of the rising berth yields on weak dollar. |

| The largest mobile phone carrier in the world reported 21% increase in revenue to Rmb 356 billion ($50 billion) after it added 5.7 million new subscribers a month in 2007. The company increased its market share to 69% in 2007 from 68% in 2006 as it added subscribers in the rural area. Monthly churn rate in 2007 fell to 2.64% from 2.73% in 2006. China Mobile plans to spend Rmb 127 billion in network infrastructure in 2008 and Rmb 119 billion in 2009. China Mobile has 384 million subscribers. |
