| Suntech Power, China based solar energy company second quarter revenues grew 51% to $480.2 million and net income rose 58% to $65.2 million or 38 cents a share. BJs Wholesale Club, a warehouse club operator second quarter sales increased 18% to $2.65 billion and net income rose 0.54% to $36.5 million or 61 cents a share. China based real estate services provider E-House second quarter revenues increased 79% to $43.0 million and net income rose 85% to $11.7 million or 14 cents a share. |

Target Corporation, discount retailer second quarter sales grew 5.7% to $15 billion and net income declined 7.6% to $634 million or 82 cents a share. |

BHP Profit Rises 14.7%

| BHP Billiton, the largest diversified mining group fiscal 2008 revenues jumped 26% to $59 billion on rising sales volumes for metals and increasing petroleum prices. In the period, sales volumes of copper, iron ore, energy coal, diamonds and alumina contributed $805 million of earnings before income and taxes. Revenues from petroleum gained 62.2% to $9.5 billion as the average realized oil prices was $96.27 per barrel from $63.87 a year earlier. |
