123jump.com has been conducting interviews with mutual fund managers on a regular basis since 1999. The editorial staff selects to interview fund managers based on its proprietary fund criteria: consistency of investment returns, uniqueness of investment styles, and discipline in investment and research process. Every month we review thousands of funds in the U.S., UK, Canada, Europe and India to select those that meet our criteria.

Currently, there are more than 200 interviews published on 123jump.com and Ticker.com. We interview every month between twelve and fifteen managers based in the U.S., UK, Canada and India.

123Jump.com offers interviews published in the Mutual Fund Q&A and Management Talk sections, both available on Ticker.com and 123jump.com web sites. These interviews are edited and prepared in magazine style format.

We have built our own style of interviewing portfolio managers as we concentrate on five key elements: investment philosophy; investment process (strategies used to put the philosophy into practice); research process; fund portfolio construction, and risk control. Ticker's purpose is to convey, by using a neutral tone, to financial intermediaries and investors the way a mutual fund is run by the management team. The Q&As do not critique the fund's philosophy and the different methods of its implementation.

The Q&A is conducted by phone. After the interview has been transcribed and edited, we send the transcript for revision/clarification from the mutual fund company. Then, we receive the verified transcript and pass it on to our designers who create a PDF proof that we also send back for a final reviewal of the all the data in the full layout before the Q&A appears on the web sites.

We will appreciate your cooperation with data and files to improve the turnaround of the publication. For the Ticker FundScreen layout in PDF format we will need the following materials:

- a high-resolution photo of the portfolio manager(s)

- a bio text up to 200 words

- statistical fund data to be added to an Excel spreadsheet that we will provide

Our interview process is designed to help financial intermediaries, the core of our readership, understand long-term fund management strategy, investment and research process and risk control measures employed by the portfolio managers.

We have added more than 200 Q&As from over 140 fund companies to our database, which makes it one of the largest collection of mutual fund Q&As. Each Q&A is featured (and kept in the archives) on two of the company's web sites: www.123jump.com, the financial news portal that targets primarily high net worth individual investors and currently has more than 240,000 monthly visitors; and www.ticker.com, the online successor of Ticker magazine (with its 90,000 subscribers) that caters the needs of financial planners and advisors, broker/dealers and other financial professionals.
