Club Mediterranee Swings To Profit |

Club Mediterranee, French travel group, reported it reversed to a first-half profit of 1 million euro, up from a loss of 25 million euros in the year-ago period. Sales advanced 10.5% to 828 million euros and comparable sales grew 7.7%. The company added it continued to gain markets share and that the number of customers advanced in France, despite the lackluster business environment. Club Med said synergies with Accor resulted in a gain of 6.4 million euros in the first half and that summer bookings are up 5.1% |
