Tony Blair said that the terrorist attacks in London would not halt the work of G-8 annual summit. Prime Minister said that differences between the U.S. and the other industrialized nations would not be resolved but hoped to reach a consensus on the issue of global warming. Along with tackling poverty in Africa, Mr Blair has made the struggle against the Greenhouse effect a priority for G-8. He is under pressure from antipoverty campaigners and green groups to reach a breakthrough on both points.
