The strong housing market in the U.S. shows no sign of restraint. In yet another report from Mortgage Bankers Association revealed that its market composite index of mortgage loan application volume climbed 9.6% on a seasonally adjusted basis for the week ended July 1. The industry organization stated that its index of purchase activity advanced 9.1% for the week, while its index of refinancing activity climbed 10.2%.
